Phantom Postal Service (2024-ongoing)
The Phantom Postal Service is a site-adaptive participatory installation that creates a temporary postal booth, where participants communicate with loved ones who have died through acts of speculative and creative correspondence.
Facilitated by myself and Vicki Machin, Phantom Postal Service has been presented in multiple public and arts-based settings, including the Parkdale Library and Toronto's 401 Richmond though Ontario Culture Days and Summerworks.
As mediators of the booth (playful postal workers), we guide participants through a process of composing a written or recorded message to a loved one who has died, receiving a message from a past participant in return, and reflecting together through conversation and presence.

The We Need It Collective is a collaboration between Toronto dance artists Angela Vitovec and Erin Poole. We have come together around a core belief that dance is a relational, discursive and community oriented endeavour that requires consistent and ongoing practice. We are motivated by our shared desire of creating a space where we, as dance artists in the contemporary and experimental community, can regularly and reliably train in diverse approaches, methodologies, and physical practices together.
Mondays and Wednesdays 10 am - 12 pm
